In Krasnodar, Russia, an incident unfolded that sounds like the script of a bad dark comedy. A veteran trolleybus driver with 43 years of experience stepped out of his cab — but in the process managed to press the accelerator with his left foot.
The machine lurched forward out of the wash bay, struck a worker and finally came to rest after colliding with other trolleys. The employee remains in hospital in serious condition, while the driver was immediately dismissed.
