When Life Becomes GTA On a Stolen Bike and High on Drugs

If you think daredevil BMX tricks belong only on YouTube, meet the new Czech folk antihero who decided to gamble with his life—and everyone else’s nerves—out on real streets. Red light? Irrelevant. Park alleys? Just shortcuts. Riding the wrong way into a tunnel? Why not: you only live once.

He tore through traffic like a bargain-bin “Grand Theft Auto” expansion: red lights as mere decorations, parks reimagined as bike lanes, and wrong-way riding framed as an extreme sport. When the police joined the chase, they were treated to a free tunnel stunt show as the fugitive attempted a manoeuvre better suited to a deleted scene from Fast & Furious.

To complete the picture, the man was high on drugs, riding a stolen bicycle and already wanted nationwide. A three-in-one deal: if you lack common sense, at least you can provide free entertainment to the public.

In the end, his downfall was not clever police tactics but the intervention of an ordinary driver—someone with the rare advantage of clear-headed judgement, enough to upset the fugitive’s fragile balance.
