Every now and then, traffic presents us with truly spectacular moments of absurdity. And this? This is pure gold. Imagine a hardcore, Lycra-clad road warrior who has unilaterally decided that everyone else must match his pace. Now, there's a perfectly good shoulder available, a slight nudge to the side wouldn’t be a challenge in the least—but no. Better to hog the entire lane, bring traffic to a standstill, and test the patience of every driver behind.

And then—oh, the horror!—something truly scandalous happens. A driver, whose patience has finally run dry, makes a perfectly safe overtaking move using the very shoulder the cyclist refuses to touch. An unforgivable crime!

Because, of course, rules only apply to others. The same road shoulder that was too unworthy for our esteemed pedaling champion just moments ago? Now it’s sacred ground, and woe betide anyone who dares set their tires upon it!
