Shaquille O’Neal Orders a Half-Meter Longer Sports Car

The custom Corvette C8 Z06 was built by Effortless Motors, who took the standard car’s 4,630 mm length and added another 500 mm – a huge modification in the world of supercars. In a recently released video, Shaq can be seen squeezing himself inside, finally able to reach the pedals and sit behind the wheel with something resembling comfort. The catch, however, is headroom: Corvettes are notoriously low, and since the roofline wasn’t raised, O’Neal’s towering frame leaves his head awkwardly close to the ceiling. In practice, it looks like he’ll be driving the car mostly with the top off.

This isn’t the first time the Hall of Famer has had cars built to his own dimensions. Last year, West Coast Customs revealed a bespoke two-door Lucid Air EV tailored for Shaq, painted to match his Rolls-Royce Cullinan.

O’Neal has never hidden his love of outrageous machines. Today, his garage houses not just expensive and rare cars, but ones literally created to fit him – proof that when you’re Shaq, even a supercar has to play by your rules.
