Brawl Erupts, Car Disappears

A roadside scuffle turned into a scene straight out of dark comedy when a driver, too busy trading punches, lost his car to an opportunistic thief.

It is a rather absurd episode. The spark that lit the quarrel remains unseen, but what followed could hardly have been scripted better. As two drivers locked horns, their focus entirely consumed by the altercation, a third party seized the chance. With the kind of efficiency only distraction affords, the interloper slid behind the wheel and drove off in one of the combatants’ cars. Just like that, the fistfight evaporated. Nothing stops a brawl quite like the sound of an engine disappearing into the distance.
