In the Czech town of Šternberk, an ordinary traffic stop turned into a full-blown action scene. When police signaled a driver to pull over, the 31-year-old man did the exact opposite — he floored the accelerator and launched into a reckless escape.
The pursuit, straight out of an American action film, tore through the town’s narrow streets before ending at a railway crossing, as dramatically as it had begun.
Police later discovered the reason for the man’s desperate flight: he was under the influence of drugs, and his driving license had long been invalid. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured, but the driver’s wild ride ended not at his intended destination, but in a police cell.
