Mr. Adventure: A Tale of Creative Driving and Traffic Fines

On one lovely March day, Mr. decided to grace a shopping center in Tallinn with his presence. Apparently, taking the shortcut was the ultimate time-saver, and spotting a vacant parking spot, Mr. confidently maneuvered his way directly to his destination. The minor inconvenience of driving on the sidewalk and hopping over the curb was no deterrent, of course.

Once the vehicle was parked and the necessary errands completed at the shopping center, a greater challenge awaited, as departure was unexpectedly complicated by barriers, posts, and other casually scattered obstacles. In a stroke of genius, all the skills of stunt driving and orienteering were put to use, and an escape route was found, albeit once again in a manner that strongly contradicted polite traffic behavior and knowledge of traffic regulations.

Where there are doers, there are also witnesses, and the driver had to justify his actions to the police. Since work is often tailored to the client's material, the police also approached interpreting traffic rules creatively, resulting in Mr. leaving the police station with a €400 reminder of traffic regulations firmly in hand.
