The airborne cover, light enough not to cause injury, briefly blinded the rider before sliding off. Crucially, the motorcyclist managed to pull over quickly, and no vehicles following behind ploughed into him. Still, the incident serves as a chilling reminder of how swiftly an everyday lapse in securing cargo can escalate into a life-threatening scenario.
This time it ended with nothing more than shaken nerves. Next time, the outcome could be far worse.
