Lamborghini & Sonus faber Bring Supercar Soul Home with 50 Pairs of Exclusive Speakers
When Lamborghini and Sonus faber join forces, the result is never just a product — it’s pure emotion, handcrafted into both form and sound. During Monterey Car Week, the two Italian legends unveiled their latest creation: the Il Cremonese Ex3me Automobili Lamborghini Edition home audio system, inspired by the design and spirit of Sant’Agata Bolognese supercars.
Only 50 pairs will be made, each individually numbered and built by hand. The pentagonal cabinet, with sharp edges and finishes in carbon fiber and Corsa-Tex (Dinamica), mirrors Lamborghini’s athletic lines, complete with the iconic shield on the front panel.
Technically, the system is based on Sonus faber’s Il Cremonese Ex3me. Highs are delivered by a DLC-coated beryllium tweeter capable of exceeding 35 kHz. The midrange comes from a 180 mm driver with a membrane made of cellulose, kapok, and kenaf, while low frequencies are handled by two 180 mm woofers using Sonus faber’s signature sandwich structure. Final tuning is done by ear, the traditional Sonus faber way, not just by measurement instruments.
Colors match the Lamborghini palette: yellow, green, red, blue, and black. Pricing remains undisclosed, but given the exclusivity, these will only be within reach of true collectors.
This isn’t the first collaboration — Sonus faber previously developed bespoke sound systems for the Revuelto hypercar (750 W) and Urus SE SUV (nearly 1.5 kW), giving Lamborghini drivers an auditory thrill as intense as pressing the accelerator.
Now, that experience moves into the living room — not just for listening to music, but for feeling every note as passionately as if you were driving a V12 along the Italian autostrada.
