While the 2 Series Gran Coupe retains its front-wheel-drive FAAR platform, it has undergone substantial exterior and interior enhancements and received a power boost. Updated Design and Larger Dimensions The new Gran Coupe follows the design cues of the BMW 1 Series hatchback, sporting a sleek, dynamic appearance with sharper and bolder lines. For petrol engines, the 220 Gran Coupe boasts 170 horsepower, complemented by a 48-volt electric system for improved efficiency and fuel economy. The high-performance M235 xDrive variant comes with a 300-horsepower engine, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds. Seven-Speed Dual-Clutch Transmission and Front-Wheel Drive Platform The new 2 Series Gran Coupe is equipped with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, replacing the previous eight-speed automatic. This new transmission offers smoother shifts, better acceleration, and improved fuel efficiency.
