While the updated model will make its debut on Japanese roads this fall, European buyers will have to wait until the spring of 2025 to get their hands on it. At first glance, the SUV looks much like its predecessor, but beneath the surface, several significant updates have been made. Although the power output of the electric motors remains the same, the battery capacity has been increased to 22.7 kWh. The Outlander PHEV boasts seven driving modes and Mitsubishi’s advanced S-AWC (Super All-Wheel Control) system, providing superior handling in all conditions. Additionally, the active yaw control (AYC) helps maintain stability during cornering by selectively braking individual wheels, ensuring a smooth and controlled ride.
