British Rebel at €2.85 Million: Garagisti GP1 Revives the Allure of the Analogue Hypercar
A completely new British marque, Garagisti & Co., has unveiled its debut creation: the GP1. Built around a carbon monocoque and powered by a naturally aspirated 6.6-litre V12 mated to a six-speed manual, this hypercar has a singular mission — to deliver a pure, unfiltered driving experience. Production is capped at 25 road-legal units, each priced from €2.85 million (£2.45 million) before taxes and delivery.
Its 800-horsepower engine is hand-built by Italtecnica Srl, sending power to the rear wheels through an Xtrac manual gearbox. The design, penned by Angel Guerra (formerly of Bugatti and Rimac), draws on the wedge-shaped icons of the 1980s to 2000s, yet stands as an independent, timeless form. Motorsport-grade aerodynamics include an exceptionally ambitious diffuser package — rare even among supercars.
Inside, there are no screens and no gimmicks — everything is focused on the driver. With a kerb weight of just 1,000 kilograms, the GP1 can serve as both a grand tourer and a track weapon, entirely at the driver’s discretion.
The project unites specialists across disciplines, from engine and design to Brembo brakes and Öhlins suspension. The first 12 buyers will join the so-called Open Doors programme, granting them behind-the-scenes access to the development process and a rare voice in shaping the final car.
Garagisti positions the GP1 in a niche of its own: free from brand heritage constraints, untouched by market research filters, unbothered by algorithmic optimisation — guided only by taste, instinct, and engineering.
