Cadillac Elevates Blackwing with Bespoke Luxury: CT5-V Gets Millions of Possible Combinations
Cadillac has unveiled a new, ultra-luxurious take on its flagship sedan, the CT5-V Blackwing, through the brand’s Curated by Cadillac personalization program. This initiative adds a handcrafted dimension to an already extreme 677-horsepower machine.
Buyers can configure their car with over 160 exterior colors and hundreds of interior material choices, resulting in millions of potential combinations. Options include hand-stitched leather, custom paint shades, and trim details unavailable on the standard model.
Every Curated by Cadillac vehicle is built at the Michigan-based Artisan Center, where each car goes through a dedicated, individual production process. The craftsmanship comes at a premium: while a standard CT5-V Blackwing starts at around $158,000, the bespoke version adds roughly $56,000 to the price.
Mechanically, the model remains unchanged — under the hood is a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 producing 677 hp, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 10-speed automatic transmission.
GM positions the program for its most discerning clients, those seeking not just a fast, luxurious car, but a truly personal masterpiece. With Curated by Cadillac, the brand aims to compete head-on with Europe’s finest bespoke and luxury automakers.
