Audi Expands Its EV Lineup with the Long-Range Q4 40 e-tron

Audi is enhancing its Q4 e-tron series with a new longer-range variant, offering premium features and advanced charging technology. The fully electric Q4 40 e-tron boasts a maximum range of 412 km (423 km for the Sportback version). With fast charging, the battery can go from 10% to 80% in just 24 minutes, adding up to 150 km of range in 10 minutes.

At its core, the Q4 40 e-tron is powered by a 150 kW (204 hp) permanent magnet synchronous motor, delivering seamless and efficient performance. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.1 seconds, with a top speed of 160 km/h. Designed for practicality, it also offers a towing capacity of up to 1,200 kg (on an 8% incline).

Smart Charging and Predictive Maintenance
The model features manual battery preconditioning, ensuring optimal charging speeds at any station. Additionally, a predictive maintenance system provides real-time updates on essential vehicle components via the myAudi app, monitoring brake wear, 12V battery status, and first-aid kit contents.

Cutting-Edge Connectivity and AI Integration
The Q4 40 e-tron integrates Audi’s in-car app store, giving access to news, podcasts, games, and entertainment directly on the infotainment screen—without the need for a smartphone. Charging station locations can be precisely planned with customizable filters, allowing drivers to set preferred battery charge levels at their destination or select specific charging networks.

Audi has also introduced ChatGPT-powered voice control, enabling multilingual voice commands for infotainment, navigation, and climate settings, enhancing convenience and safety.
