AC Cars reintroduces the iconic AC Ace sports car<br><br>AC Cars, Britain’s oldest car manufacturer, has announced the revival of its classic AC Ace and AC Ace Bristol models. These new versions will be part of the newly formed AC Cars Classics division, combining timeless design with modern technology.<br><br>A Legendary Heritage<br><br>The original AC Ace gained worldwide recognition in the 1950s and 1960s for its lightweight construction, sporting performance, and elegant design. The new AC Ace Classic and AC Ace Bristol Classic draw on this legacy, taking inspiration from the brand’s engineering roots.<br><br>Design and Technology<br><br>While the new AC Ace Classics pay homage to the traditional roadster, they feature modern advancements such as a carbon-fiber body and a classic-style chassis. These updates ensure enhanced driving comfort and handling, blending retro styling with contemporary powertrain technology for a refined driving experience.<br><br>Two Versions<br><br>The revived models offer two distinct driving experiences, reflecting the evolution of the original AC Ace during its 10-year production span. The AC Ace Classic and AC Ace Bristol Classic capture different aspects of the original’s character, tailored to meet modern driving needs with a touch of classic charm.<br><br>AC Cars Classics Division<br><br>This new division of AC Cars is dedicated to bringing back the company’s most iconic vehicles. The models will be produced at AC Cars’ advanced facility on the south coast of the UK, where vintage craftsmanship meets modern innovation.<br><br>Orders and Pricing<br><br>Reservations for the AC Ace and AC Ace Bristol Classic are now open, with prices starting at £175,000 (including VAT). Each car will come with an official chassis number, marking it as a genuine descendant of the historic AC models. Deliveries are expected to begin in summer 2025.
