Abarth launches the most powerful electric 600e version

Abarth celebrates its anniversary with an ambitious project, unveiling the new Abarth 600e. This new model is built on the Perfo eCMP BEV platform.

The Abarth 600e comes in two versions: the powerful Scorpionissima, limited to only 1,949 units in homage to Abarth’s founding year, and a slightly "calmer" Turismo variant. The Scorpionissima boasts 280 horsepower and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds, while the Turismo offers 240 horsepower and reaches the same speed in 6.2 seconds. Both models have 345 Nm of torque and a maximum speed of 200 km/h, with a range of up to 334 kilometers depending on tire selection.

Abarth focused on details in the new 600e that highlight the car's sportiness and performance. The exterior design combines Abarth’s historical styling with a playful, modern visual: large, square-shaped radiator surrounds add distinctiveness and aerodynamic benefits. Spoilers and 20-inch alloy wheels, designed in a scorpion sting-inspired style, emphasize aggressiveness and functionality by improving aerodynamics. The car is available in striking colors like Acid Green and Venom Black, enhancing the brand’s goal to create a bold, impactful appearance.

Inside, drivers are welcomed by a leather and Alcantara steering wheel and sporty Sabelt seats. The Scorpionissima even offers heated seats. Darkness and rain sensors, CarPlay and Android Auto support, and ADAS safety systems – like lane-keeping and blind-spot monitoring – make the driving experience both safe and comfortable.

The new Abarth 600e offers three driving modes, providing power options suited to various driving needs. Turismo mode provides smoother acceleration, ideal for everyday city driving. Scorpion Street mode adds power and dynamism but remains comfortable on longer journeys. The most powerful mode, Scorpion Track, allows maximum power and aggressive pedal responsiveness, designed for high-performance driving.

The Abarth 600e Scorpionissima is priced at nearly £42,000 in the UK, while the Turismo model is £37,000. Orders will soon open across Europe, where Abarth hopes to offer enthusiasts a solid driving experience.
