RML Unveils Its First Hyper-GT at Salon Privé

The new car, limited to just 39 units, is based on RML’s prototype coded P39 and delivers headline figures of 920 horsepower and more than 1,000 Nm of torque. Built around a full carbon-fibre body with active aerodynamics and adjustable suspension, it promises record-setting pace on the circuit while remaining, at least officially, fully road legal. The debut edition underscores its track-focused intent with adjustable ride height, an integrated roll bar and the omission of rear seats—deliberately blurring the line between endurance racer and grand tourer.

RML’s show car makes its case visually as much as mechanically. Finished in a striking Storm Purple, it wears gold-finished wheels and hand-painted emblems, with an interior where every detail, down to the colour-matched seatbelt webbing and stitching, reinforces its exclusivity. As with all hypercars, the theatre is as carefully staged as the engineering.

For RML Group, whose engineering credits include the record-breaking NIO EP9 Nürburgring prototype, the Hyper-GT serves as a rolling demonstration of capability and craftsmanship. Whether the production run of just 39 examples cements a lasting legacy or remains a niche collector’s indulgence is the question that will follow this radical newcomer into the rarefied world of hypercars.

At the opening of the Salon Privé luxury motoring showcase in England, RML Group pulled the covers off its first-ever Hyper-GT, a limited-run machine that fuses Le Mans–grade engineering with road legality, and marks the company’s 40th anniversary with a statement of intent.
