Rezvani’s 850 hp armoured Fortress pick up arrives in June
Rezvani released the first image of the new Fortress, a 2027 model year pick up with tactical styling and the option of armour. The official reveal will take place in June, but buyers can already reserve a production slot with a refundable deposit of USD 500 (€425).
The California small volume manufacturer is taking the Fortress into the same niche it already occupies with the Tank, Vengeance and other deliberately extreme models. That means luxury, serious off road ability and optional protection equipment in one rather unsubtle package. Rezvani calls the Fortress a tactical off road truck and confirms that an armoured package will be available.
The first dark teaser image shows a square shouldered body, a bonnet with an air intake and a front light signature made up of several narrow LED strips. Rezvani has not yet released exact dimensions, pricing or interior details.
Early information says the flagship version will use a 5.2 litre supercharged V8 producing up to 850 hp, or 634 kW. That points to a possible relationship with the Ford F 150 Raptor R, although Rezvani has not officially confirmed the donor platform.
Armour, theatre and a very large V8
Rezvani promises all wheel drive, strong off road performance and maximum security. Judging by the company’s previous models, the options list may include bullet resistant glass and body panels, underbody protection, run flat tyres, night vision and other elements from its security package. On the armoured version of the Tank, Rezvani also lists equipment such as a smoke screen, EMP protection and reinforced suspension.
The final price of the Fortress remains undisclosed. Estimates suggest it could start at around USD 200,000 (€169,924), which would fit Rezvani’s usual logic. The Tank starts at USD 175,000 (€148,683), while the Vengeance begins at USD 285,000 (€242,141).
The Fortress is not trying to compete with ordinary pick ups. It is an image product for buyers who want a wildly powerful V8, military styling and, where required, an armoured body. That market is small, but for Rezvani it makes sense. The company does not sell volume. It sells attention, separation and the option to configure a car as if the school run might involve a minor coup.
