Vision 4Rescue: Renault Is Literally Playing With Fire
Renault and Software République have come together to create the Vision 4Rescue, a vivid red, high-tech emergency vehicle that looks like a futuristic command center and performs accordingly. It is based on the Renault 4 E-Tech Electric.
This vehicle features nearly twenty connected systems that enable emergency services to act faster, more intelligently and with greater coordination on site. A drone capsule sits on the roof, a control center with screens and computers is built into the interior, and the trunk stores helmets, radios and other critical gear. Everything is fully charged and ready for immediate use.
The design makes no attempt to blend in. A fire-red body with fluorescent accents, 3D-printed bumpers, seats patterned with “PinPon” motifs and etched call-sign markings all reinforce its purpose. One notable detail stands out: the seat fabric is partially made from recycled firefighter uniforms.
Vision 4Rescue is not just a concept car built for show. It is designed to function in the real world. And if future vehicles are going to save lives, they might very well look like this.
