QJ Motor Launches New ATVs: Three Models, Generous Equipment, and Aggressive Pricing
Chinese manufacturer QJ Motor is expanding its four-wheeler lineup, unveiling the new SFA 600 Standard, SFA 600 High and SFA 1000 in Spain. The company claims the trio delivers the “best in segment” mix of horsepower, features and price — a formula designed to put pressure on established rivals.
All three models share the same fundamentals: independent double-wishbone suspension, 210 mm disc brakes front and rear, an electronic power steering system with three modes, and switchable 2WD/4WD with locking differentials at both ends. Standard kit includes LED lighting, USB ports, a tow hook, an electric winch and even a three-year warranty — a rarity at these price points.
SFA 600: 577 cc single-cylinder, 45 hp and 53 Nm.
SFA 600 High: adds piggyback shocks, aluminum wheels and upgraded equipment.
SFA 1000: 976 cc V-twin, 88 hp and 93 Nm, making it one of the most powerful in its class. Weighs 566 kg and carries up to 220 kg.
All models use a CVT automatic with a low-range gear for tougher conditions. Tires range from 25 inches (SFA 600) to 27 inches (SFA 1000). Displays start with a 5-inch LCD on the base model, while pricier versions get a 7-inch TFT with Bluetooth and smartphone mirroring. Higher trims also add passenger backrests, hand guards, metal footboards and a stronger winch rated up to 1,587 kg.
European pricing:
SFA 600 Standard – from €7,499 (black)
SFA 600 High – from €8,499 (red, camouflage)
SFA 1000 – €11,499 (black)
In short, QJ Motor is trying in the ATV world what it already does with motorcycles: offering equipment and warranty coverage the Japanese typically charge extra for, but at a much lower sticker price. The real test, however, won’t be on glossy spec sheets — it will come in the dirt, where reliability matters far more than the pixel count of a TFT screen.
