A terse and efficient scene in Peru as police squad officers secure detainees, fasten handcuffs and load them into a transport before heading to the local precinct.
There was no ceremony for those taken into custody. Officers cuffed the suspects, loaded them into the back of a police pickup and moved on. If a body presented problems it was shoved to one side and the short trip to the station began.
