Opel brings electric passion and power to the Auto Zürich
Opel is heading to the Zurich Motor Show with one of its most electrifying line-ups yet. The German brand promises a display that is sportier, more visionary, and more emotional than ever before. Centre stage will feature three key models: the digital-meets-physical Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo, the rally-inspired Mokka GSE, and the adventure-ready Frontera Gravel.
The undisputed star is the Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo. It packs 588 kW (800 hp) and 800 Nm of torque, hitting 100 km/h in just two seconds and topping out at 320 km/h. The model exists both in the real world and virtually within Gran Turismo 7, marking Opel’s first “phygital” concept that brings racing-game energy to life.
Next up is the production-ready Mokka GSE, a fully electric model that channels the same performance DNA. With 207 kW (281 hp) and a 0–100 km/h sprint in 5.9 seconds, it is the quickest all-electric Opel to date. The company will also showcase a special edition, the Mokka Wow, featuring metallic paint and upgraded tech at a more accessible price.
Making its debut in Zurich is the Grandland Electric AWD, Opel’s first all-wheel-drive electric SUV. Delivering 239 kW (325 hp) and a WLTP range of 489 kilometres, it demonstrates that practicality and power can comfortably coexist in an EV.
For those drawn to the wild, the Frontera Gravel brings a tougher edge. Finished in Desert Stone with a matte black roof and orange highlights, the show car looks ready for the outdoors. Optional extras include a roof tent, winch, and rear storage compartments, turning weekend escapes into something close to effortless.
Opel’s stand will also feature its full line-up, from the Astra to the Zafira, including electrified Corsas and the versatile Combo.
Auto Zürich runs from 29 October to 2 November.
