Nissan has unveiled its next big move—a bold new SUV named Tekton, designed in India but destined for global roads. Inspired by the legendary Patrol, the Tekton brings muscular proportions and a premium edge to Nissan’s evolving design language, signaling a new chapter for the brand’s international ambitions.
The first official images reveal a compact SUV that borrows the Patrol’s imposing stance and distills it into a more agile, urban-friendly form. The front end is dominated by a sculpted hood, pronounced bumper lines, and distinctive P-shaped daytime running lights. At the rear, flared arches, a roof spoiler, and a full-width light bar emphasize the car’s athletic posture and visual width.
While Nissan is keeping the interior under wraps, the company promises a premium-grade cabin crafted with quality materials and an advanced digital interface—an interior designed to elevate expectations in its segment.
Technical details remain undisclosed, but expectations are high. Nissan hopes the Tekton will combine solid driving dynamics with robust build quality to serve as a new growth engine—something rarely said about vehicles originating from India’s manufacturing base.
