MINI Aceman - Monochrome Pack

MINI Goes Monochrome: Style by Subtraction

MINI’s latest color variant, dubbed “Monochrome,” reads like an automotive haiku: limited palette, standardized kit, and shades tailored for those whose wardrobes live strictly between black and white. The new MINI Cooper Electric Monochrome and MINI Aceman Monochrome come exclusively as electric models and strictly in two colors—Midnight Black or Nanuq White.

Beneath this oddly painted surface lies the usual MINI spec sheet: LED headlights, adaptive cruise control, parking assistant and heated front seats. The wheels are anything but small—17 inches on the Cooper, 18 on the Aceman—and the interior comes draped in what’s described as “multitone” fabric, which essentially means black upholstery lightly stitched with white and yellow thread.

In contrast to the design minimalism, the cabin is loaded with smart tech: head-up display, wireless charging, a reversing camera and a 24 cm touchscreen that lets you change “the personality of the car or cabin according to your mood.” Which, presumably, means the lights change color.

The Cooper Electric Monochrome features a 40.7 kWh battery good for up to 304 km of range, while the Aceman, with its 42.5 kWh pack, stretches that slightly to 309 km. Fast charging supports up to 75 kW—respectable, but hardly class-leading.

UK pricing starts at £26,905 for the Cooper Monochrome and £28,905 for the Aceman.
