Maserati Grecale Tributo Il Bruciato: Where Car and Wine Meet in a Single Glass
Maserati has once again proven that Italian luxury knows no boundaries — not even between a wine cellar and an automotive atelier. In partnership with the famed Tuscan winery Marchesi Antinori, the brand has unveiled the limited-edition Grecale Tributo Il Bruciato, a creation that fuses fine wine culture and Modenese engineering into one sensuous expression of Italian artistry.
Maserati and Marchesi Antinori have blended two seemingly distant worlds — the luxury car and the red wine — into a project that feels less like a machine and more like a declaration of lifestyle. The result, the Grecale Tributo Il Bruciato, is based on Maserati’s compact SUV but speaks a far more poetic language.
The car was conceived as an homage to the Bolgheri region of Tuscany and its celebrated Il Bruciato wine, renowned for its depth of colour and character. Its body is finished in Alchimia Scarlatta, a deep burgundy shade that shifts under light from copper to raspberry to rich crimson, mirroring the hues of a swirling glass of wine. To achieve this living, liquid effect, Maserati used a special Chromaflair pigment that makes the paint shimmer and transform like the surface of a fine vintage.
Inside, the theme continues with an interior that feels more like a Tuscan tasting room than a luxury SUV. Warm leather tones, dark red accents, and intricate cannelloni-style stitching create an atmosphere of tactile elegance. A Sonus faber sound system and a panoramic roof complete the sensory experience, ensuring that every drive feels like a private ritual of indulgence.
The Grecale Tributo Il Bruciato is not about sales figures or performance benchmarks. It is a celebration of Italian craftsmanship and the art of living well — a statement that true luxury lies in detail, taste, and unhurried enjoyment. As Maserati itself puts it, this car embodies “Driving the essence of Italian living” — not as transportation, but as a way of life.
