Maserati Grecale – Everyday Exceptional, Italian Style
Maserati is one of those car brands that can win your heart before you even press the start button. And now, the iconic Trident has turned its full attention to the Grecale. With updates to its engines, interior and exterior, it has become the equivalent of an Armani suit on wheels – and yes, now available in electric form too, if you prefer.
The new Grecale is no longer just about the Modena or Trofeo. There’s now a new entry-level version simply named “Grecale,” powered by a 300-horsepower four-cylinder mild hybrid. If that feels a bit tame, the Modena steps it up with sportier styling and 330 horsepower. Trofeo? That still packs the ferocious 530-horsepower Nettuno V6 under the hood. And then there’s the Folgore – Maserati’s first fully electric SUV, boasting a 105 kWh battery and a punchy 410 kW of power.
Maserati now offers up to 11 exterior colors, including bold new shades like Blu Pastello, Giallo Genio, and Orange Devil. Throw in black brake calipers and a sleek Ice/Black sport interior, and you’ve got something that looks like a backstage luxury hero. Like James Bond attending a contemporary art exhibit.
Inside, you’ll find five seating configurations, a multitude of materials, two standard trim levels, and a wealth of options through the Fuoriserie customization program.
But despite all the marketing sparkle and polished flair, the Grecale remains arguably the most forgettable Maserati of them all — and if it quietly disappeared, few would notice.
