MARSIEN GT transforms the Porsche 911 Turbo S with 619 kW and a full carbon-fibre body
Marc Philipp Gemballa is expanding the MARSIEN family with the road-focused MARSIEN GT. Based on the 992-generation Porsche 911 Turbo S, the limited-run model receives an entirely new carbon-fibre body, a RUF-developed flat-six producing more than 830 hp, bespoke KW suspension and active aerodynamics. Production is limited to 30 cars, with prices starting at €770,000 net, excluding the donor Porsche, taxes, any applicable duties and transport costs.
The MARSIEN GT develops the idea introduced by the original MARSIEN in 2021, but takes it in a different direction. Where the first car was conceived as a Paris-Dakar-inspired sports car capable of venturing far beyond tarmac, the GT is focused on high-speed road driving, greater dynamic precision and improved everyday usability.
Marc Philipp Gemballa will build just 30 MARSIEN GTs. Together with the 40 examples of the original MARSIEN, that brings total production of the MARSIEN programme to 70 cars, marking Uwe Gemballa’s 70th anniversary.
The Porsche 911 is the starting point, not the finished product
Every MARSIEN GT begins with a 992-generation Porsche 911 Turbo S before undergoing an extensive transformation involving around 1,500 newly engineered and manufactured components.
Every exterior panel has been reworked. The full carbon-fibre body comprises more than 100 individual components, including air ducts, mirror housings, wheelarch liners and a large rear body section extending from the A-pillar to the rear wing.
The underbody is also made from carbon fibre, replacing the aluminium underfloor. Marc Philipp Gemballa says the complete package reduces weight by 75 kg compared with a standard 992 Turbo S, although the company has not published the MARSIEN GT’s final kerb weight.
Design duties once again fall to Alan Derosier, who also created the original MARSIEN.
Active aerodynamics use pneumatic actuation
The MARSIEN GT introduces a completely new active-aerodynamics system. Pneumatically actuated louvres in the front wings release high-pressure air from the wheelarches, reducing front-axle lift and wheelarch turbulence.
At the rear, an active wing changes its angle of attack to increase rear-axle downforce and stability at speed. It can also function as an air brake. Both the front louvres and rear wing use pneumatic actuation for rapid response.
A roof scoop draws clean airflow from above the cabin and directs it towards the intercoolers, while separate ram-air intakes feed the engine. Additional ducts integrated into the side skirts channel cooling air towards the rear wheelarches and brakes.
The full carbon-fibre underbody saves weight while also helping manage airflow towards the rear diffuser.
RUF raises output beyond 830 hp
Marc Philipp Gemballa continues its collaboration with RUF Automobile for the MARSIEN GT’s powertrain development.
The 3.7-litre twin-turbocharged flat-six receives upgraded variable-turbine-geometry turbochargers, revised ECU mapping and modified transmission calibration. Output rises to more than 830 hp, equivalent to roughly 619 kW, with 930 Nm of torque.
A second-stage upgrade is already under development and is expected to produce more than 900 hp, or around 671 kW.
Marc Philipp Gemballa’s technical specifications list a 0–100 km/h time of 2.4 seconds and a top speed of 330 km/h. The acceleration figure needs some qualification, however, because the same specifications describe it as “0–100 km/h (0–60 mph)”. Those are not identical measurements: 60 mph is approximately 97 km/h.
The 2.4-second time should therefore be treated as the manufacturer’s quoted figure until its exact measurement method is clarified.
The drivetrain retains an eight-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission and modified all-wheel drive with Porsche Traction Management.
Akrapovič has developed a bespoke full-titanium exhaust system with four outlets specifically for the MARSIEN GT.
KW develops a new road-focused chassis
The MARSIEN GT abandons the off-road-oriented suspension concept of the original MARSIEN. KW Automotive has developed a new double-wishbone front suspension, while the rear retains a multi-link layout.
The electronically controlled dampers are based on KW’s DDC V5 technology. Two electromagnetic proportional valves within each damper independently regulate compression and rebound, allowing the system to respond to changing road conditions and driving situations within 20 milliseconds.
Standard ground clearance is 100 mm. A front-axle lift system can raise the nose by a further 60 mm, making ramps, steep driveways and speed bumps easier to negotiate.
The driver can select different driving modes using a control on the steering wheel, with the system adjusting the dampers, transmission calibration and engine mapping accordingly.
The MARSIEN GT rides on centre-lock forged aluminium wheels measuring 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear. Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres measure 275/35 ZR20 up front and 335/30 ZR21 at the rear.
Porsche engineering meets bespoke craftsmanship inside
The MARSIEN GT’s cabin features a raised centre console and an aluminium gear lever inspired by the Porsche Carrera GT. The gearknob can be specified in exposed carbon fibre or mahogany instead of leather or Alcantara.
Options include carbon-fibre interior packages and a Clubsport roll bar mounted behind the seats. The bar can be finished in body colour, leather, Alcantara or exposed carbon fibre.
Each car also receives a metal plaque on the centre console identifying its individual production number within the 30-car run.
€770,000 is only the starting point
The MARSIEN GT starts at €770,000 net. That figure excludes the donor Porsche 911 Turbo S, taxes, applicable duties and transport, so the final cost will be considerably higher.
Buyers are paying for far more than an increase in engine output. The conversion includes the completely redesigned carbon-fibre body and active aerodynamics, bespoke chassis, RUF-developed powertrain, Akrapovič titanium exhaust and an exceptionally limited production run.
First customer deliveries are planned for the end of 2027.
The MARSIEN GT will make its world and North American debut at Pebble Beach on 13 August 2026 during Monterey Car Week. Following its unveiling, it is also scheduled to appear at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering and on the Concept Lawn at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
