In Latvia, one driver came up with a solution that is as simple as it is misguided. After knocking down several traffic signs, he allegedly decided the best course of action was to bury the evidence under a convenient pile of snow.
The logic appears straightforward. If the signs disappear, perhaps the incident disappears with them.
