Kia Unveils the New PV5 Design

Kia has officially revealed the exterior design of the all-new PV5, introducing an innovative and modular approach to electric mobility. The PV5 is the first model under Kia’s Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) strategy, which aims to redefine the concepts of space and mobility. Initially presented as a concept at the 2024 CES trade show, the production version of the PV5 is set to make its official debut in just a few days.

The PV5 will be available in multiple configurations, including Passenger and Cargo variants, offering exceptional versatility and adaptability to a wide range of users. The Passenger model features a sleek geometric design, a low beltline, and expansive window surfaces for enhanced visibility. Meanwhile, the Cargo version prioritizes efficiency and practicality, distinguished by dual rear-hinged doors that allow for effortless loading and unloading.

Both versions embody Kia’s signature approach to modern electric vehicle design, seamlessly combining functionality with cutting-edge technology. Kia will showcase the PV5, along with its derivative models, at Kia EV Day in February 2025 in Tarragona, Spain, where further details on the PBV strategy and future plans will be unveiled.
