Hyundai Lifts the Veil on a New Electric Compact, But Keeps the Details in the Dark
The reveal marks Hyundai’s return to the IAA Mobility show after a four-year hiatus. From September 9 to 14 in Munich, the brand will showcase its first compact EV concept under the Ioniq nameplate. So far, only a silhouette has been shown, christened the “Aero Hatch” by designers who claim it embodies the “flow and bending of steel” while hinting at new proportions for the segment.
The official release praises the study’s design as “sculptural” and “pure,” yet offers not a single word on specifications, battery capacity or production intent. For now, “Concept THREE” remains little more than a vision of the future – a marketing exercise draped in sleek lines, with its real dimensions, pricing and production timeline kept as carefully hidden as the car’s nose and tail.
