Hyundai has unveiled the new IONIQ 9, a three-row electric SUV.

This model combines spaciousness with functionality. Its interior is designed to meet modern needs, accommodating up to seven passengers and offering relaxation with seats in the first and second rows that recline horizontally.

A strong emphasis was placed on practicality:
- Cargo Space: With the third-row seats folded down, the trunk provides up to 1,323 liters of storage capacity, while offering 620 liters with all rows upright.
- Materials: Sustainable materials were used, including recycled fabrics and tire-based paint.
- Design: The panoramic sunroof, streamlined roofline, and aerodynamic details create an elegant exterior with a low drag coefficient (0.259 Cd).

Performance, Efficiency, and Range

The IONIQ 9 is built on Hyundai’s Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), which supports long-range driving and fast charging:
- Battery: A 110.3 kWh lithium-ion battery delivers a WLTP-estimated range of up to 620 km.
- Motors: Available in rear-wheel drive (160 kW) and all-wheel drive (up to 320 kW) configurations.

Technology and Safety

The IONIQ 9 features the latest in driver assistance and connectivity technologies:
- Safety: Advanced driver assistance systems include collision avoidance assist, blind-spot monitoring, and 10 airbags.
- Convenience: Digital key, over-the-air software updates, and Bluelink connectivity services.

Market Launch

The IONIQ 9 will debut in the first half of 2025 in Korea and the USA, with the European market to follow shortly after. Detailed specifications and options will be announced closer to the launch date.
