A new signature look

The DS N°8 debuts the brand’s next-generation lighting identity. The front end features the DS Luminascreen, where vertical light beams frame the DS logo like a stage. The triple-module headlamps with eight LED elements form a Clous de Paris pattern, echoed inside the cabin. At the rear, a V-shaped DS Lightblade underlines the car’s wide stance and low, elegant posture. The silhouette remains clean, free of noise or decorative clutter.

Craftsmanship and materials

Inside, olive leaf–treated Nappa leather and Alcantara dominate, with 68 percent of the materials sourced from recycled origins. The dashboard runs unbroken, with no visible stitching. Guilloché detailing on the steering wheel and air vents, pearl embroidery and strap-style leather panels all carry DS Automobiles’ haute couture signature.

The slim, supportive front seats focus on ergonomics, offering massage, ventilation and heating functions, as well as the DS Neck Warmer, which directs a gentle flow of warm air around the shoulders and neck.

Quiet technology

Digital minimalism defines the cabin layout. A 12.25-inch driver display, extended head-up projection and a 16-inch central screen work seamlessly without visual overload. The DS Iris System 2 responds to natural voice commands and operates with smartphone-like speed and smoothness.

The French answer to German precision

The DS N°8 positions itself among the likes of the BMW iX, Mercedes EQE SUV and Audi Q6 e-tron, while offering a more refined alternative to Stellantis siblings such as the Peugeot e-5008 and Opel Frontera Electric. DS chose a different route: focusing on material quality, acoustic comfort and a couture-inspired aesthetic.

Its range and charging performance place it at the sharp end of its class, while its driving character seeks balance between comfort and precision. Where Germany offers laboratory perfection, DS delivers French silence and craftsmanship. Sometimes that’s enough to make the journey feel shorter than the map suggests.
