Clive Sutton CS800DH: The British Take the Mustang to Maximum

For Clive Sutton, Ford’s Mustang—especially the new Dark Horse—just isn’t quite Mustang enough. Enter the CS800DH, a supercharged, carbon-laced monster that takes the stock V8 from 447 to 788 horsepower, courtesy of a Whipple 3.0L supercharger.

Torque jumps a jaw-dropping 61% to 870 Nm, peaking at 4,750 rpm. The visual aggression matches the performance: a 1,580 mm rear wing, a gaping diffuser, a new hood, front splitter, side skirts—all carbon fiber, all designed to make this look like a dragster that took a wrong turn at Nürburgring.

Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires wrap around Vossen wheels, supported by a lowered, stiffened suspension. The exhaust? A Borla ATAK quad system with an H-pipe, naturally. Inside, it’s Recaro racing seats with heating and cooling, and the option to re-trim the entire cabin—steering wheel, headliner, dash, everything—to suit your tastes.

What really sets the CS800DH apart from other tuner specials is that every modification is done within Ford Performance’s warranty framework. Factory coverage stays intact, and Sutton throws in an additional three-year warranty for good measure.

Pricing ranges from £135,000 to £165,000 (€158,000–€194,000), depending on the spec. The CS800DH will make its official debut at the Salon Privé event at Blenheim Palace in late August.
