Brabus and KTM Unveil the New Luxury Powerhouse: Brabus 1400 R Signature Edition

When Brabus promises a limited edition, it’s worth paying attention. The German tuning house has once again joined forces with Austrian motorcycle giant KTM to create the Brabus 1400 R Signature Edition, the most powerful and exclusive “Luxury Hyper Naked” bike the duo has built to date. Production is capped at just 100 units.

Based on the KTM 1390 Super Duke R Evo, the Brabus 1400 R is far more than a reworked sports bike. Its 1,350 cc LC8 V-Twin engine delivers 190 hp and 145 Nm of torque, making the throttle feel anything but gentle. A bespoke twin exhaust system positioned under the seat amplifies both the sound and the attitude.

Every surface flaunts exposed carbon fibre, highlighted by Brabus’s new Widestar body design. The special Midnight Veil finish evokes the dark sophistication of the company’s supercars.

Up front, a carbon fibre fender and a custom LED headlight assembly carry the distinctive Brabus “signature stripes” pattern seen on its performance cars. The same lightweight weave appears on the fuel tank covers, side spoilers and belly pan.

Even the rear wheel received a bespoke touch. The 17-inch Monoblock II Evo “Platinum Edition” forged rims, inspired by Brabus’s classic automotive designs, are CNC-machined specifically for motorcycle use.

Inside the cockpit, Brabus craftsmen upholstered the seat in Masterpiece leather and Dinamica microfibre. Sculpted side wings enhance aerodynamics and reflect the meticulous precision familiar from Brabus’s four-wheeled creations.

The 1400 R isn’t just muscle, it’s intelligent too. WP Apex Semi-Active Technology suspension adjusts electronically, letting the rider switch from comfort to track mode at the press of a button. Brembo Hypure four-piston brakes grip 320 mm discs, delivering confident stopping power.

There are five ride modes: Street, Sport, Rain, Performance and Track. The latter two open up advanced tuning for throttle response, traction control and damping, aimed squarely at experienced riders. A large TFT colour display brings it all together, lighting up with a unique Brabus animation on startup.

In Germany, prices start at €41,933 (excluding VAT). Each buyer also receives an exclusive accessories set that includes a leather key box, a carbon key case, a Brabus indoor bike cover and a special display mat.

If the Brabus 1300 R marked the dawn of the luxury hyper naked era, the 1400 R pushes that idea to its peak. It fuses KTM’s raw performance with Brabus’s aesthetic precision, bringing the luxury-car mindset into the motorcycle world.

The Brabus 1400 R Signature Edition proves that luxury and power are no longer the exclusive domain of cars. It captures a growing trend among top-tier tuning studios turning their attention to two wheels, applying the same level of craftsmanship and drama that defines their automotive icons. While rivals like Ducati and MV Agusta aim for refined sportiness, Brabus doubles down on theatrical presence and handmade bravado.
