Boreham Motorworks revives the legendary Ford Escort Mk1

In about ten days, the cover will be lifted from the "new" Ford Escort Mk1 built by Boreham Motorworks in the United Kingdom, which commemorates the glory days of the RS series. The model combines the best features of the high-performance versions of the Escort Mk1, such as the Twin-Cam, Alan Mann Racing Group 5 race car, and RS2000.

Boreham Motorworks focuses on preserving the legacy of Ford's rally cars and classic models, and the new Escort Mk1 is driven by passion and respect for Ford's history. Unlike the modern trend of equipping old models with electric motors, the new Mk1 will be equipped only with gasoline engines and a manual transmission.

The Ford Escort Mk1 combines modern engineering and design with the original Rallye Sport spirit. The new Escort offers the driver raw and direct driving pleasure, which also defined the peak moments of Ford's racing era.
