Alfa Romeo Junior Evolves with Wider Engine Range and a New Luxury Touch
Alfa Romeo’s most compact model has just received a thoughtful update. With more than 50,000 orders worldwide, the small yet ambitious Junior continues to prove that the brand’s sporting DNA is thriving in the electric age.
Alfa Romeo has opened orders for the refreshed Junior, its smallest and most forward-looking model. The update brings a clearer trim hierarchy, a broader choice of powertrains, and two modular option packs, Sport and Techno, allowing buyers to decide exactly how much Alfa they want in their daily drive.
The renewed Junior follows the same strategy that has shaped Alfa’s electric future in recent years. Style, technology and driving pleasure remain at the core, but every model is now available with a range of different power sources. In the Junior’s case, that means a wide selection: a fully electric version, a front-wheel-drive hybrid and an all-wheel-drive hybrid Q4, now offered in the more affordable Sprint trim.
This last development is particularly notable. Alfa Romeo is making all-wheel drive far more attainable, aiming to attract new buyers who once found the Q4 versions out of reach.
A new modular system lets customers tailor the car’s personality to their preferences. Sprint focuses on dynamic everyday driving, with glossy black accents, tinted glass, RGB ambient lighting and an intelligent traffic-sign recognition system. Ti takes a more luxurious approach, offering a leather steering wheel, heated and power-adjustable seats, a Cargo Flex boot system and aluminum pedals that lean more toward comfort than circuit speed.
Two additional packs refine the experience further. The Sport Pack features Sabelt Alcantara sport seats, red interior details and paddle shifters in hybrid versions. The Techno Pack adds Matrix LED headlights, level 2 semi-autonomous driving assistance, a 180-degree camera, 360-degree parking sensors and wireless charging, all now considered essential conveniences.
Model Year 2026 introduces new 18-inch Aero wheels designed to reduce drag without sacrificing elegance. The familiar Petali and Fori designs remain available, while the striking 20-inch Venti wheels are reserved for the fully electric Veloce version.
The overall shape remains unmistakably Alfa Romeo, with a short bonnet, broad shoulders and a low driving position. The Junior looks compact yet assertive, capturing the essence of a true small sports car reimagined for the electrified era.
